Tongue 'N Cheek fan app · Effective July 15, 2026
The Tongue 'N Cheek app is your backstage pass — shows, RSVPs, check-in stamps, and The Vault. This page explains what information the app uses and what we do with it, in plain English.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address you sign up with, the stage name you put on your pass, and (optionally) your real name if you choose to add it. Your real name is only ever visible to the band — never to other fans.
- Your pass activity: shows you RSVP to, and shows you check in at (venue, city, and date — that's what your passport stamps are made of).
- Location, one moment only: when you tap Check In on show night, the app reads your location once to confirm you're at the venue. That's it. The app never tracks your location in the background, and never reads it at any other time.
- Notifications: if you allow notifications, we store a push token so we can send show announcements and reminders. You can turn notifications off anytime in the app or in your phone's settings.
- Booking inquiries: if you use Book the Band, we receive the contact details you type into the form so the band can reply.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no analytics profiles.
- We never sell your information to anyone.
- No background location tracking — ever.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored securely with Google Firebase (authentication, database, and photo storage), which powers the app's backend.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account any time from inside the app: Your Pass → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, RSVPs, and stamps. You can also email us at tnc26003@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Kids
The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
